THE NORDIC COURSE IN NAVIGATING COSMETIC DERMATOLOGY
Join our two-day course tailored for general dermatologists to explore the realm of cosmetic dermatology. Navigating Cosmetic Dermatology focuses on familiarizing you with available treatments, understanding how they are conducted, and providing strategies to recognize and manage their side effects. Through expert lectures, real-world case studies, and interactive discussions, you’ll gain the knowledge needed to advise your patients on cosmetic procedures and handle their complications.
Please note, this course does not teach the execution of cosmetic procedures but is designed for general dermatologists seeking to expand their understanding of cosmetic dermatology.
Programme
The course will cover the following main topics:
- Managing side effects of neurotoxins and injectables
- Understanding common skin treatments and their potential adverse effects, including sclerotherapy, microneedling, dermabrasion, and chemical peels
- Gaining insight into commonly used energy-based devices, such as ultrasound, radio frequency, cryolipolysis, laser, and HIFEM
- The role of topicals and cosmeceuticals in cosmetic dermatology
- Key legislation in the Nordics and its implications for clinical practice

Practical information for participants
PROGRAMME
The programme kicks off at 9:45 AM, but we encourage you to arrive early. Registration opens at 9:00 AM, giving you plenty of time to check in, grab a breakfast snack, collect your name badge, and enjoy a cup of coffee before the sessions begin.
We hope that you will Join us for the reception on the evening of April 3rd.
WORKSHOPS
There will be 4 workshops the 3th of April and 3 workshops the 4th of April.
During the programme you will be divided into workshops – once you receive you name badge, you will see a workshop group number on your name badge – please stick with this group for the workshops both days.
COURSE MATERIALS
A day before the course starts, you will receive handouts for each presentation. You can use them to prepare for the course or take notes on during the course.
COURSE EVALUATION & CERTIFICATE
On the last day of the course, we will send you a link to an online evaluation that we hope that you will fill out. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance future editions of the course.
When you have evaluated the course, you will a few days after the course receive an email to download your course certificate.

CANCELLATION TERMS
Cancellation of registration must be notified in writing to CAP Partner at registration@cap-partner.eu.
Cancellation of participation postmarked before and on 2 February 2025 will be refunded deducting an administration cost of DKK 250. From 3 February 2025 registration fees are non-refundable.
If the course is cancelled for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, the registration fee will be refunded after deduction of expenses incurred by the course.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is possible by invoice (bank transfer) or credit card. Upon completion of the registration, an automated email confirmation will be sent. Depending on the method of payment, the invoice or credit card receipt will be attached. The PDF is original and will be the only copy you will receive.
It is your responsibility to forward the invoice to the correct place for immediate payment and you must ensure that the correct VAT number and invoice address are entered during the registration process.
PICTURE & VIDEO
By registering for NCNCD, the participants consent that the organizer may take pictures and/or record videos at the event. This includes pictures and/or videos of the participants and/or their works (such as posters, excerpts of presentations, or lectures) during the course for reports and promotion of NCNCD activities on the NCNCD website, social media channels, and printed material.

It is required by the local authorities that we charge local VAT. The reverse charge mechanism does not apply and it is therefore not possible to receive an invoice without local VAT.

Nordic Course on Skin Surgery is initiated by the Nordic Dermatology Association which was founded in 1910 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The aim of the association is to promote Nordic cooperation in scientific, educational and clinical aspects of dermatology and venereology, mainly by arranging congresses in the Nordic countries.
